IMMACULATA,PA.- The Immaculata softball team dropped their Atlantic East doubleheader with Centenary by scores of 5-2 and 7-1.

GAME ONE: CENTENARY 5, IMMACULATA 2
Â
Centenary jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the 5
th. Immaculata loaded the bases in the bottom of the 5
th but could not capitalize. Â
Jess Oldham would get the Mighty Macs on the board with a two-run homerun to center field to bring home
Kaitlyn Carter and make it a 5-2 game in the bottom of the 6
th.

Emma Pinto would go 2-3 in the first game for Immaculata, while
Bryele Anthony, Oldham,
Riece Onorato,
Allison Hill and
Kristin Carter would all have one hit in game one.

GAME TWO: CENTENARY 7, IMMACULATA 1
Â
Centenary got out to an early 4-0 lead heading into the bottom of the second, before
Rylee Martin responded with a towering solo shot to right center field to cut into the Cyclones lead. Centenary would add a pair of runs in the 3
rd and an insurance run in the 7
th to take game two.

Kristin Carter and
Jess Oldham each added a pair of hits for the Macs, while Martin and Karcher each added one of their own.

Prior to today's contests, the program honored their five seniors,
Riece Onorato,
Kaitlyn Carter,
Kristin Carter,
Jess Oldham and
Peyton McGowan.

The Immaculata softball team is back in action on Tuesday April 9
th when they travel to Neumann University to resume Atlantic East Conference play with a 3:00 PM start.
