IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team swept their Atlantic East Conference series versus Neumann with a 5-0 and 13-2 win this afternoon.

Jay Lawrence got the scoring started with a productive groundout to score
Nick Turnage in the 2
nd inning. The Macs would bring another across in the 3
rd.
Hunter Weitzel tripled in
Ryan Struble and Lawrence to break the game open in the 4
th, he would later score on a wild pitch.

Jason Hughes was dominant again with a complete game shutout surrendering five hits while fanning 12 for his fourth win of the year.

Shawn Haut would get the Macs on the board early with a productive fielder's choice, bringing home
Joey Sacco. Haut would pick up a sacrifice fly in the 3
rd to make it 2-0. The Mighty Macs would break the game open in the 4
th inning with a five-run frame.
Sal Serici, Sacco,
Joey Wright, Crowding and Haut would all drive in runs during the fourth inning.

Serici would add another RBI in the 5
th with a single to plate Turnage. The Knights would answer with a run in the 7
th and 8
th innings, before the Mighty Macs would put up another five spot in the bottom of the 8
th headlined by
Ryan Struble and Serici RBI doubles.

Alex LePage picked up the fifth win of his freshman campaign going six innings allowing three hits and striking out six.

Serici was the headliner at the plate in this one, going 3-5 with four RBIs.

rd when they travel to Cabrini for game one of their three game Atlantic East series with a 3:30 PM start.
