GLASSBORO,Nj.- The Immaculata baseball team dropped their road non-conference matchup with #19 Rowan University by a score of 9-5 this afternoon.

Rowan jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, Immaculata would get on the board in the top of the 5
th with
Ryan Struble stealing home after a
Joey Sacco walk.
Joey Wright would drive in another with an RBI double scoring
Louis Sharp.
Steven Theisen would get hit by a pitch to bring the Macs third run across in the inning. Wright would cut the score to 6-4 when he came home on a wild pitch.

The Profs were able to extend their lead to 9-4 with runs in the 6
th and 7
th inning.
Josh Crowding would drive in Wright with a productive groundout to cut the lead to four but the Mighty Macs comeback attempt would not be enough.

Sacco, Wright,
Shawn Haut,
Nick Turnage, Struble, Sharp and
Sal Serici would all tally one hit on the day for the Immaculata offense.

Jake Confrey and
Thomas DeSarno combined for three innings of scoreless baseball in relief for the Mighty Macs.

The Immaculata baseball team is back in action on Friday, April 26
th when they travel to Neumann University for game one of their three game Atlantic East Conference series.
