IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University men's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped falling to Neumann 5-4 in a conference match on Monday afternoon at the IU Tennis Courts.
In doubles action,
Jason Watts and
Troy Watts lost the first doubles match 8-9 (6-7).
Jeremy Brown and
Nicholas Fleming lost the second doubles match 2-8, and
Alex Polidoro and
Nicholas Brown lost the third doubles match 1-8.
In singles action,
Jason Watts won the first singles match 6-0, 6-3.
Troy Watts won the second singles match when his opponent had to retire due to injury. Watts won the first set 6-3 and was trailing in the second set 2-5.
Nicholas Fleming won the third singles match 7-5, 6-2.
Jeremy Brown lost the fourth singles match 0-6, 3-6.
Nicholas Brown won the fifth singles match 6-1, 6-4, and
Alex Polidoro lost the sixth singles match 1-6, 1-6.
