DAVENPORT,Fl.- The Immaculata baseball team scored double digit runs for the third consecutive game to take down Husson by a score of 10-5.

Immaculata got on the board in the first inning after a
Ryan Struble two RBI single drove in
Matt Passerini and
Shawn Haut. They would add one more in the second with
Matt Passerini driving in
Hunter Weitzel with a single.
Steven Theisen would use a sacrifice fly to bring in
Josh Crowding in the 3
rd, making it a 4-1 ballgame.

Haut would drive in
Sal Serici with a single in the 4
th, Crowding would launch his second homerun of the year over the center field wall in the 5
th. The Eagles would respond in the 7
th making it a 7-5 game. In the bottom of the 8
th, the Macs would lean to their veterans to break the game open.
Joey Wright drove in two with a single, with Crowding following it up with an RBI single of his own.

Crowding led the way at the plate collecting three hits, doubling in the 3
rd, hitting a solo homerun in the 5
th, and tallying an RBI single in the 8
th. Haut stayed hot for the Macs with three hits as well. Passerini and Weitzel each had a pair while the team swiped four bags and tallied 14 hits on the game.

Stephen DiBattista picked up his second win of the season, allowing three hits and two earned, striking out three.
Derek Andrada picked up the save, with 1.2 innings of shutout relief work striking out two.

The Immaculata baseball team is back in action tomorrow, March 8
th  when they take on St.John Fisher at 4:00 PM at Polk State College.
