IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team concluded their series sweep over Marywood with a 21-3 victory in the final game of the series.

Alex Lepage earned his first conference start and did not disappoint, surrendering four hits in six innings of work while striking out nine.

The Immaculata offense started out swinging in the bottom of the first, plating five runs on four hits. The Macs would continue to put up crooked numbers throughout the rest of the game, scoring one in both the 3
rd and 4
th, a seven spot in the fifth, five more in the 6
th and capped it off with two in the eighth.

Joey Wright led the way going 3-5 on the day with four RBIs.
Ryan Struble was 3-3 with four RBIs of his own.
Hunter Weitzel added a two-run triple to go along with a bases loaded walk and a sacrifice fly to add four more RBI.
Joey Sacco set the table out of the leadoff spot, reaching base all six times this afternoon drawing four walks and going 2-2. Â

Overall, Immaculata picked up 15 hits on the afternoon, with
Josh Crowding having two, and
Nick Turnage,
Louis Sharp,
Sal Serici, and
Maddox Stern all adding one. The team also drew 11 walks and two hit by pitches.

Veterans Sacco and Crowding both inch closer in their friendly competition to see who can become the first player in Immaculata Baseball program history to record 200 career hits, with Crowding sitting at 198 and Sacco sitting at 196 for their careers.

The Immaculata baseball team is back in action tomorrow, March 26
th when they travel to Stockton University for a 3:30 PM start.
