IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata women's lacrosse team picked up the first win of the
Brittney Conzentino era with a 12-7 victory over Bryn Athyn this evening.

Immaculata used a strong first period with 5 goals in the first 15 minutes of action on their way to an 8-4 halftime lead.
Liza Laxton led the way in the first half with four points via a pair of goals as well as assists. Kiatlyn Klitchko added three first half goals,
Jacki Murray got the team on the board in the minute mark.
Ava Hoffman also found the back of the net.

After missing the entire 2023 season due to injury,
Tessa Liberatoscioli made her highly anticipated return to the turf at Draper Walsh Stadium which saw her make an instant impact by way of a goal and an assist in the first half.

In the second half,
Jacki Murray would extend the lead with her first of three goals in the second half, on a feed from Laxton, she would add two more goals in the fourth period to put the game out of reach. Laxton and Murray both tallied five points on the evening to lead the way for Immaculata.
Carly Oberg added her first goal of the season, while
Sydney Mehaffey added her first career point with her fourth quarter feed to Murray.

Abigail Guarneri made multiple big time stops to keep the game at an arm's length, tallying nine saves on the contest. Eleven different Mighty Macs picked up ground balls, headlined by Guarneri and Liberatoscioli each with five. Seven Mighty Macs caused turnovers, while Laxton led the way with three.

The Immaculata women's lacrosse team has a quick turnaround when they return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Wednesday, February 28
th with a 7:00 PM showdown with Albright.
