Samuel Jankowski had a career best 14 points.
With their win Immaculata improves to 4-7 in the season. With the loss Stevenson falls to 5-3.
How it Happened
- After Stevenson opened an early 8-4 lead, John Proctor scored consecutive baskets for Immaculata and Robbie Logan scored on a layup as Immaculata took a 10-8 lead with 13:21 remaining in the half. Jalen Flowers hit a three-pointer, and Samuel Jankowski scored on consecutive layups as Immaculata opened a 17-12 lead.
- John Proctor, who scored 15 points in the first half, completed an old fashioned three-point play off a layup and a free throw to put Immaculata up 31-21 with 6:00 minutes remaining in the half. When Stevenson cut the lead to 37-34, Jalen Flowers hit a pair of three-pointers in the final minutes of the first half as Immaculata led 43-39 at the half.
- In the second half, after Mandon Seapoe scored on a layup to put Immaculata ahead 53-48 with 12:14 remaining in the half, Stevenson would use a 16-2 run to take a 61-55 lead with 6:01 remaining in the second half. Robbie Logan hit a three-pointer to break the run. Samuel Jankowski would follow with a layup, Dylan Crews hit a jumper, John Proctor scored on a layup, and Samuel Jankowski scored hit a pair of free throws as Immaculata took a 67-63 lead with 0:38 remaining in the game.
- Stevenson would not go quietly as they scored on a tip in with 0:15 remaining to close the lead to 67-65. Dylan Crews hit a pair of free throws, and John Proctor got a steal and a layup with just over one second remaining to put Immaculata up 71-65. Cameron Sapienza hit a long three-pointer at the buzzer for Stevenson, but Immaculata closed out the win 71-68.
