IMMACULATA, Pa.- Reese Mullins scored a team-high 17 points, and
Meg Robbins came off the bench to score 11 points as Immaculata defeated visiting Keystone College 75-58 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With their fourth straight win, Immaculata improves to 5-1 on the season. Keystone drops their third straight game to fall to 3-3 on the season.
How it Happened
- Immaculata got things going early with a steal from Tessa Liberatoscioli, that led to a fastbreak layup for Abigail Boyer. Reese Mullins would follow with a jumper, and a three-pointer with 8;36 remaining in the first quarter to give Immaculata 7-2 lead.
- Reese Mullins followed with a layup, and Carly Coleman followed with a layup and a rebound tip in as Immaculata led 13-4. Abigail Boyer, Tessa Liberatoscioli, Meg Robbins, and Resse Mullins added baskets as Immaculata led 23-7 after the first quarter of play.
- In the second quarter Tessa Liberatoscioli scored on a layup, and then hit at three-pointer to give Immaculata a 30-14 lead. Olivia Ettorre would score on a layup, and Meg Robbins would score a pair of baskets and add a free throw. Riley Cassidy hit a three-pointer and Immaculata led 47-23 at halftime.
- In the third quarter, Reese Mullins scored Immaculata's first four points with a pair of free throws and a layup. Carly Coleman followed with a layup of her own. Francesca Scarpone hit a three-pointer and made a pair for free throws for the Mighty Macs. Victoria Foster, and Meg Robbins would later score as the third quarter closed with Immaculata leading 64-36.
- Keystone refused to go quietly outscoring Immaculata 22-11 in the fourth quarter. Julia Pohl scored for Immaculata. Kaylia Rice hit a free throw in the fourth quarter as Immaculata closed out the win 75-58.
