IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team (3-12, 1-3 AEC) dropped both matches in their Atlantic East Conference tri-match at Alumnae Hall on Saturday. Immaculata fell to Pratt (6-13, 1-2 AEC) 3-0, and Neumann (10-14, 4-1 AEC).

How it Happened vs Pratt (Pratt 3-0 | 18-25, 15-25, 19-25)

• Pratt jumped out to an early 5-1 lead in the first set. Immaculata ended the run on a block by Calissa Araujo. Immaculata would later close the score to 12-9 as the got kills from Dianna Rivera and a pair of kills from Mia Esposito. Pratt would end the set on a four-point run to win 25-18.
• In set two Immaculata got kills from Eliana Szatkowski, Calissa Araujo, Emma Hodgson, and Mel Mann to even the score at 6-6. Pratt responded with a four-point run to retake the lead 10-6. Eliana Szatkowski picked up consecutive points for Immaculata with a kill and a block. Pratt then closed out the second set on a 9-2 run to win the set 25-15.
• In set three Immaculata took an early 6-4 lead with kills from Mia Esposito and Calissa Araujo. Pratt then re-took the lead at 7-6. Calissa Araujo served consecutive service aces to put Immaculata back on top 9-7. Pratt then went on a 7-2 run to go ahead 16-13. The Cannoneers would go on to take set three 25-19, and then match 3-0.

• Mel Mann with six kills, Mia Esposito with five kills, and Calissa Araujo with five kills led the Immaculata offense.
• Calissa Araujo had two service aces.
• Jenna Bozzo and Christina Lenzo each had 12 assists in the match.
• Dinah Stabinski had 19 digs, Christina Lenzo had three digs, and Lauren Gartman had three digs.
• Mia Esposito had four blocks, and Calissa Araujo and Eliana Szatkowski each had one block.

 
How it Happened vs Neumann (Neumann 3-0 | 24-26, 14-25, 10-25)

• Immaculata opened the first set taking an early 4-0 lead as Christina Lenzo served four straight points. The run included a service ace, and kills from Eliana Szatkowski, Mia Esposito, and Alayah Phifer. Neumann responded with a seven-point run of their own. Immaculata got another kill from Alayah Phifer and Lauren Gartman served three straight points as Immaculata pulled even at 7-7. Emma Hodgson served three straight points that included consecutive block assists by Eliana Szatkowski and Mel Mann to put Immaculata up 16-15. Jenna Bozzo served back-to-back points to put Immaculata up 24-23 on a kill by Mel Mann. Neumann would score three consecutive points to take set one 26-24.
• Neumann took an early 4-0 lead in the second set. Immaculata would get kills from Calissa Araujo, Mia Esposito, a service ace from Lauren Gartman, and blocks from Mel Mann, Emma Hodgson, and Eliana Szatkowski. Neumann would use a five-point run to take set two 25-14.
• In set three, Immaculata got an early block from Eliana Szatkowski, and a kill from Diana Rivera, and a block assist from Mia Esposito and Eliana Szatkowski to take an early 3-2 lead. Neumann responded with an eight-point run to go ahead 10-3. Neumann would go on to close out the third set 25-10 and the match 3-0.
