Women's Volleyball Hosts Pratt and Neumann for AEC Tri-Match on Saturday at Alumnae Hall

THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's volleyball team (3-10, 1-1 AEC) returns to Alumnae Hall on Saturday when they host new AEC member Pratt Institute and rival Neumann University in an Atlantic East Conference tri-match.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday after defeating Centenary 3-0 on October 19th.
  • Pratt (5-12, 0-1 AEC) enters Saturday having fallen to Marymount 3-0 on October 19th.
  • Neumann (8-14, 2-1 AEC) enters Saturday after defeating Marywood 3-1, and falling to John Jay 2-3 in their tri-match at home on October 19th.

  • First-year pin hitter is Melissa Eddy who has a team-high 217 kills, and first-year hitter Julia Solomon has 211 kills.
  • Senior setter Dani Smith has a team-high 48 service aces and a team-high 689 assists.
  • First-year defensive specialist Hannah Strohm leads Neumann with 325 digs.
  • First-year middle hitter Taylor Long leads Neumann 37 total blocks.
WEEKLY HONORS
  • Mia Esposito and Christina Lenzo were named to the Atlantic East Conference Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon.
  • Mia Esposito had a combined 14 kills with a block, and two digs in two matches for Immaculata this week. Esposito had a match high eight kills with two digs to help lead Immaculata to a 3-0 Atlantic East Conference win over Centenary on Saturday, October 19th.
  • Christina Lenzo had a combined 19 assists with five service aces, and six digs over two matches. She had nine assists, with three service aces, and five digs to help lead Immaculata to a 3-0 Atlantic East Conference win at Centenary on Saturday, October 19th.
