THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata men's soccer team (4-7-1, 1-1-0 AEC) visits new AEC member Pratt Institute at the Aviator Sports & Events Center in Brooklyn, N.Y at 1:00 pm.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday's game after defeating Centenary 3-0 on Saturday in an Atlantic East Conference game. Michael Balestriere scored all three goals for the Mighty Macs.
  • Pratt (2-8-3, 1-2 AEC) enters Saturday's game after falling at Neumann 6-0 on Wednesday. Pratt has dropped their last two AEC games falling at Marymount on October 12th 4-0, after beating Gwynedd Mercy 2-0 at home in the AEC debut on October 9th.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Michael Balestriere registered the 11th hat-trick in program history vs Centenary on October 12th in leading Immaculata to the senior day 3-0 win. He joins former teammates Josh Fonder (who accomplished this twice) and Oldy Dielce of whom are among the 11 hat-tricks.
  • Matthew Kirkpatrick continues to lead the team in scoring with 10 points. Kirkpatrick is tied for the team lead in goals with Balestriere, has two assists.
  • Reed Lindsay assisted on the first Balestriere goal, has a team high four assists.
  • Jonathan Olaleye had an assist on Balestriere's third goal.
  • The Immaculata defensive core of Daniel O'Rourke, Dylan Walter, and Kyle Coleman limited Centenary to only seven shots on goal, and only three corner kicks during the game.
  • Immaculata goalkeepers Ryan Straub made six saves, and John Wilhelm made one save for the combined team shutout.
  • Reed Lindsay and Michael Balestriere each had four shots on goal in the game vs Centenary.
  • Immaculata is averaging 12.2 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 14.2 shots per game.

  • Sophomore midfielder Dylan Costa with five goals, first-year midfielder Omri Hadad with two goals and one assist, and junior Bryan Hong-Dominguez with one goal and two assists lead the Cannoneer offense.
  • Sophomore defender Paxton Lyman with two assists, and first-year forward Efe Ozdemir with one goal and one assists figure into the Pratt offense as well.
  • Senior goalkeeper Carter Tillman has started 10 games in goal with a 2-5-1 record with 2.69 goals against average. Tillman has one shutout this season.
  • Pratt is averaging 10.5 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 17.6 shots per game.
  • Pratt has .471 shots on goal percentage, and their opponents have .511 shots on goal percentage.
 
WEEKLY HONORS
  • Michael Balestriere was named to the Atlantic East Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. Balestriere registered a hat-trick in Immaculata's 3-0 win over Centenary on October 12th. Balestriere had six shots including five on goal during the game.
  • Daniel O'Rourke was named to the Atlantic East Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll on Monay afternoon. O'Rourke played the full 90 minutes helping limit Centenary to only seven shots on goal and helping Immaculata earn the clean sheet defeating Centenary 3-0 on October 12th. 
 
ATLANTIC EAST CONFERENCE
  • Including Saturday's game, Immaculata's remaining four regular-season games are Atlantic East Conference games.
  • The top five teams qualify for the Atlantic East Conference Tournament starting on November 2nd with the #4 seed hosting the #5 seed in the First Round. The First-Round winner will advance to the Semifinals and play at the #1 seed, and the #2 seed will host the #3 seed in the Semifinals on Wednesday, November 6th. The semifinal winners will meet for the Atlantic East Conference Championship and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament at the higher seed on Saturday, November 9th.
