Men's Tennis Hosts Ursinus at the IU Tennis Courts his Afternoon

THE STORYLINE

The Immaculata men's tennis team (0-2) is back in action when they host Ursinus College (1-1) this afternoon at the IU Tennis Courts at 4:00 pm.

THE SERIES

These two schools are meeting for the sixth time in their series that began in 2009.
Immaculata is 05 all-time vs Ursinus in men's tennis.

LAST MEETING

Immaculata fell to Ursinus 9-0 in their last meeting on September 28, 2022, at Ursinus.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES

Nicholas Fleming will play first singles and first doubles for Immaculata. Fleming is 0-2 on the season at first singles having lost in a tiebreaker against Lancaster Bible and lost in straight sets vs Stevenson on October 5^th. In doubles Fleming has played with Patrick Arnold and Mathew Sabat Jr. at first doubles.
Patrick Arnold is 2-0 this season at second singles. He won his match vs Lancaster Bible 6-1, 6-3, and his match vs Stevenson 4-6, 7-5, 11-9. Arnold has played doubles with Nicholas Fleming and Mike DeMattei.
Matthew Sabat Jr. is 0-2 in singles playing in the third singles position. Sabat Jr. has played at second doubles with Mike DeMattei and first doubles with Nicholas Fleming this season.
Mike DeMattei lost his only singles match vs Stevenson on Saturday in straight sets. He has played at second doubles in both matches with Patrick Arnold and Matthew Sabat Jr.

SCOUTING URSINUS

Deniz Finkel is 1-1 this fall season at first singles. He lost his match at Chestnut Hill on 10/3 3-6, 7-5, 6-10, and won his match vs Neumann 6-1, 6-2 on 10/5. Finkel is 1-1 on the season at second doubles.
Nathan Kim is 2-0 this season. He won vs Chestnut Hill 7-5, 6-3 at third singles, and won vs Neumann 6-1, 6-1 at second singles. He is 2-0 at first doubles with doubles partner Teddy Snyder.
Teddy Snyder is 1-1 this season in singles. He lost vs Chestnut Hill 3-6, 3-6 at second singles, and won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles vs Neumann. He is 2-0 at first doubles with doubles partner Nathan Kim.

WEEKLY HONORS

Patrick Arnold was named to the Atlantic East Conference Men's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. Arnold won his singles match at second singles 4-6, 7-5, 11-9 against Stevenson.
