IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team won their first match of their fall schedule defeating Lancaster Bible College by a score of 5-4 to give head coach
Susan Callahan her first win as a head coach.
In doubles action the first doubles team of
Pamela Kontaras won their match by a score of 8-6. The second doubles team of
Audrey Keen and
Sydney Mehaffey lost their match 8-5. Immaculata's third doubles team of
Marie Mavroudis and
Reilly O'Donnell won their match by forfeit.
In singles action,
Pamela Kontaras won the first singles match by a scores of 6-4, 1-6, and 10-7.
Delaney Brown won the second doubles match 6-3, 6-4.
Audrey Keen lost the third doubles match 5-7, 6-2,
Sydney Mehaffey lost the fourth singles match 2-6, 8-6, and 7-10.
Marie Mavroudis lost the fifth singles match 1-6, 0-6, and
Carly Wetzel won the sixth match by forfeit.
The Immaculata women's tennis team will be back on the court on Saturday, September 23
rd when they travel to play at Bryn Mawr College at 10:00 AM.            Â
