IMMACULATA ,Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team opened up their 2023 slate at Draper Walsh Stadium where they played to a 0-0 tie with Cedar Crest.

In a game which seemed like time of possession was dominated by the Mighty Macs, neither team could find the back of the net over the course of 90 minutes.

Immaculata out shot Cedar Crest eleven to five. With the Macs putting nine shots on goal versus the Falcons three. Senior
Nicole Winouski led the offensive attack for the Macs with three shots on goal in the match. Senior
Jessica Gindle and junior
Kelsey Caldarelli each added a pair of shots on goal as well. Junior
Rachel McNamee and sophomore
Bella Bonilla each also added a shot on goal for the Mighty Macs.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Emily Guthier was outstanding in net for Immaculata in the few shots she faced, as well as coming out of the box to make multiple game changing plays on the ball.

The Immaculata women's soccer team is back in action on Sunday, September 3
rd when they travel to Lancaster to take on Lancaster Bible College in a 4:00 PM match.
