IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team dropped their non-conference match up with #21 Rowan University by a score of 9-5.

Rowan jumped out to a 6-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 4
th inning. Stretching their lead to 9-0 in the 7
th.

Immaculata got on the board in the 7
th inning with a
Josh Crowding sacrifice fly to score
Jay Lawrence. Â
Steven Theisen singled to drive in
Frank Margiotta to cut the lead to 6-2.
Ryan Struble would bring in another with a bases loaded walk.

In the 8
th inning
Joey Wright would continue to chip away at the lead, driving in
Andrew Jones.
Josh Crowding would add another sacrifice fly, this time scoring
Matt Passerini.

The Mighty Macs would not be able to capitalize on any opportunities the rest of the way as their comeback attempt fell short.

Jason Hughes combined for three scoreless innings of relief for the Mighty Macs.
