IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team opened their series with a game one victory over Centenary University by a score of 12-6.

Mason Keller dominated on the bump, going seven innings while only surrendering three hits and one earned run in his outing to pick up the victory.

Josh Crowding got the scoring started in the bottom of the first, driving in
Frank Margiotta to give the Macs a 1-0 lead. The game would hold 1-0 until the bottom of the 4
th inning. Immaculata would add three runs in the bottom of the frame, with the trio of sophomores in
Ryan Struble,
Blake Schantz and
Maddox Stern all driving runs in.

The 7
th inning was kind to the Mighty Macs, plating seven five runs in the bottom half. After causing chaos to score the first two runs of the inning,
Josh Crowding launched a home run to right field to bring home Margiotta.
Anthony Sasso then flew out to center field to allow
Joey Sacco to score.

In the 8
th,
Erik Molinaro,
Joey Sacco and
Matt Passerini all drove runs in to extend the lead to 12-2.

The Cyclones would score four unearned in top half of the ninth to cut the Macs lead to 12-6.

The Immaculata baseball team will be back in action tomorrow, April 28
th when they travel to Centenary for a double header beginning at 12:00 PM.
