SCRANTON,Pa.- The Immaculata softball team dropped both games of their Atlantic East Conference double header with Marywood University by scores of 3-1 and 8-0.

The Macs picked up eight hits on the afternoon, with
Sara Rode driving in the lone run for Immaculata.
Lauren Carboni and
Bryele Anthony both turned in 2 for 4 perfomances at the plate, with Anthony tallying a double and a triple in the contest.
Kaitlyn Carter also added a double.

Emma Mercadante picked up six strikeouts in the affair.

Marywood used a three-run 3
rd inning and a five-run 4
th to run rule the Macs. At the plate for Immaculata,
Sara Rode,
Jess Oldham and
Peyton McGowan all had hits.

Sarah Guido picked up five punch outs on the mound for the Mighty Macs.

 The Immaculata softball  team is back in action on Monday, April 24
th when they travel to Widener University for a double header beginning at 4:00 PM. Â
