IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team won their final Atlantic East Conference regular season match vs. Marywood University 6-3 on Monday afternoon. With the win, the Mighty Macs finished their conference schedule with a record of 2-2 and in third place overall. The Macs will visit Neumann University on Thursday, April 20th for their Atlantic East Conference Semifinal match at 3:30 Pm.
Prior to the match, the Immaculata men's tennis team honored their graduating seniors, Sean Chalmers, and Nicholas John, for their collegiate careers.
In doubles action, Jason Watts and Troy Watts won the first doubles match 8-5. Nicholas Fleming and Jeremy Brown won the second doubles match 8-5, and Alex Polidoro and Nicholas John won the third doubles match 8-2.
In singles action, Jason Watts won the first singles match 6-3, 6-1. Troy Watts won the second singles match 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Nicholas Fleming won the third singles match 6-4, 6-2. Jeremy Brown lost the fourth singles match 2-6, 0-6. Nicholas John lost the fifth singles match 3-6, 2-6, and Alex Polidoro lost the sixth singles match 2-6, 4-6.
The Immaculata men's tennis team will be back in action on Thursday, April 20th when they travel to play at Neumann University in the Atlantic East Conference Semifinals at 3:30 PM.
