ASTON, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped their Atlantic East Conference Semifinal match to the number two seed Neumann University 5-3 on Thursday afternoon.
In doubles action, Jason Watts and Troy Watts won the first double match 8-2. This was Watt's brother's seventh consecutive doubles match win. Nicholas Fleming and Jeremy Brown lost the second doubles match by a score of 2-8, and Nicholas John and Alex Polidoro lost the third doubles match 2-8.
In singles action, Jason Watts won the first singles match by a score of 6-1, 6-2. This was Jason Watts' sixth consecutive singles match win playing first singles. Troy Watts won his fifth consecutive singles match, winning the second singles match 6-2, 6-4. Jeremy Brown lost the fourth singles match 3-6, 2-6. Nicholas John lost the fifth singles match 3-6, 1-6, and Alex Polidoro lost the sixth singles match 1-6, 4-6. Nicholas Fleming's third singles match was not completed.
The Mighty Macs have now completed their 2022-23 season, having earned a 2-3 record in Atlantic East Conference play.
