IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata softball team dropped both games of their double header with Catholic University on Wednesday afternoon.

Game One: Immaculata 1 Catholic 12

Catholic jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning. Immaculata tallied their lone run of the ballgame when
Kristin Carter singled to right center driving in her twin sister
Kaitlyn Carter to cut the score to 4-1 in the 3
rd inning.

Catholic would break things open in the 5
th with an eight-run inning.

Game Two: Immaculata 1 Catholic 9

Catholic would jump out to another 4-0 first inning lead, they would extend it to 7-0 by the end of the 3
rd.

Lauren Carboni sent a single down the right field line which brought in
Morgan Sakulich to cut the score to 7-1. Catholic would score two more runs in the 5
th to create the final of 9-1.

The Immaculata softball team is back in action tomorrow, April 13
th when they host Rutgers-Newark for a double header at the Immaculata Softball Field with a 3:00 PM start.
