IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team won their second Atlantic East Conference match of the week defeating Cabrini 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Annamarie Degnan and
Pamela Kontaras teamed up for the Macs' win in first doubles taking the match 8-1.
Delaney Brown and
Katie Gardner took the second doubles match 8-0. In third doubles
Audrey Keen and
Jenna Muttik took their match 8-0 to give the Macs the 3-0 lead heading into singles.
In singles action.
Annamarie Degnan won the first singles match 6-1, 6-1. In the second singles match
Pamela Kontaras won 6-0, 6-0.
Delaney Brown won the third singles match 6-0, 6-0.
Jenna Muttik won the fourth singles match 6-2, 6-1.
Audrey Keen won the fifth singles match 6-0, 6-0, and
Sydney Mehaffey won the sixth singles match 6-0, 6-0.
The Mighty Macs (2-1, in the Atlantic East) will be back in action on Thursday, April 13
th when they visit Arcadia University for their final non-conference match of the season at 3:00 PM.
