READING, Pa.- The Immaculata women's lacrosse team dropped its' non-conference match with Albright on Tuesday night by a score of 17-4.
Albright got off to a fast start in the first quarter, scoring four times in the game's first five minutes. Albright would not slow down and led 9-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Immaculata would get on the board in the second quarter when Kaitlyn Klitchko scored on an assist from Jacki Murray with 7:57 remaining in the quarter. Albright would carry an 11-1 lead into the halftime break.
Jacki Murray, scored the final three goals for Immaculata, scoring one in the third quarter and two goals in the fourth quarter as Albright would close out the win 17-4.
Jacki Murray led Immaculata with three goals and one assist. Kaitlyn Klitchko scored one goal for the Macs. Courtney Floyd had two ground balls and had one caused turnover.
The Immaculata women's lacrosse will be back in action on Saturday, March 11th when they visit Eastern University for a non-conference match at 11:00 AM.
