Setting the tone for the Mighty Macs, Senior pitcher Steven Dibatista shut down the Monks with a phenomenal performance on the mound throwing 8 shutout innings, giving up 1 hit and racking up 10 strikeouts.

Joey Sacco started the Mighty Macs offense off with a RBI single which scored
Joey Wright in the first. After a Sacco double in the 3rd, junior
Steven Theisen hit an RBI single to score Sacco. In the 5th inning, Theisen knocked in Sacco for the second time in the game after another double by Sacco.
Frank Margiotta added to the offense by hitting a 2 RBI single in the 6th, scoring
Ryan Struble and
Justin Klemick. Sacco,Theisen and Klemick highlighted the offensive display for the Macs, combining for a 9-10 day at the plate, driving in 3 RBIs and scoring 4 runs.
