ORLANDO, Fl.- The Immaculata women's tennis team (0-1) dropped their spring opening match against Piedmont University (7-0) on Monday afternoon by a score of 9-0.
In Singles action
Annamarie Degnan lost first singles by scores of 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-10.
Pamela Kontaras lost second singles 3-6, 3-6.
Delaney Brown lost third singles 1-6, 1-6,
Jenna Muttik lost fourth singles 0-6, 0-6, Kate Gardner lost fifth singles 0-6, 2-6, and
Audrey Keen lost sixth singles 2-6, 2-6.
In Doubles action
Annamarie Degnan and
Pamela Kontaras lost first doubles 3-8.
Delaney Brown and
Katie Gardner lost second doubles 3-8, and
Sydney Mehaffey and
Jenna Muttik lost third doubles 3-8.
The Immaculata women's tennis team will be back in action on Tuesday, March 7
th when they will play Schreiner University at the USTA Campus.
