IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team dropped their non-conference matchup with Stockton University by a score of 13-10.
The offense showed up to play, racking up 14 hits and 10 runs. Headlined by a 3-5 day by senior Josh Crowding with a run driven in. Fellow senior Joey Wright would also drive in a pair of runs. Graduate student Frank Margiotta would finish his day 2-5 with a walk and 2 runs batted in.
The Mighty Macs would also see Joey Sacco (2-4) drive in a run, as well as Robert Woodward and Blake Schantz would knock a run in each. Sophomore second baseman Matthew Thomas would go 2-4 on the day with a run scored.
On the mound, Matthew Long and Trevor Wagner would combine for four shutout innings to keep the Macs in the contest.
The Immaculata baseball team will open up Atlantic East Conference play with a three game series at the Immaculata Baseball Stadium when they host Gwynedd Mercy University. With game 1 coming Friday, March 31st at 3:00 PM.
