IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis dropped their home opening match to Harford Community College 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon.
In singles action,
Annamarie Degnan lost the first singles match 1-6, 0-6.
Pamela Kontaras lost second singles 3-6, 2-6.
Delaney Brown lost third singles 3-6, 1-6.
Jenna Muttik lost fourth singles 1-6, 2-6.
Audrey Keen won fifth singles 5-7, 6-2, and 11-9.
Sydney Mehaffey won sixth singles 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles action,
Annamarie Degnan and
Pamela Kontaras won first doubles 8-2.
Delaney Brown and
Jenna Muttik lost second doubles 4-8, and
Audrey Keen and
Sydney Mehaffey won third doubles 8-7 (7-5).
The Immaculata women's tennis team will be back in action on Saturday, March 15
th when they visit Marymount University to open Atlantic East Conference play. The match is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM.
