IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team defeated Penn State Abington 72-65 at Alumnae Hall on Wednesday afternoon for their fourth consecutive win.
Abigail Lentowski led the Mighty Macs with 21 points, and six rebounds.
Reese Mullins scored 19 points going 2-for-3 from behind the arc, and eight rebounds.
Abigail Boyer had eight points, with four rebounds, and two steals.
Tessa Liberatoscioli scored seven points, with nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and matched a career high with eight steals.
Olivia Ettorre and
Emma Wagner each scored five points.
Morgan Falcone scored four points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
In the first quarter, the team's exchanged the lead early. Later in the quarter Immaculata got three pointers
Abigail Boyer and
Olivia Ettorre to give Immaculata the lead.
Mary deSimone hit pair of free throws late as Immaculata led 19-18 after one quarter.
In the second quarter, Penn State Abington took a 28-24 lead with 3:26 remaining in the quarter. Immaculata responded with a basket from
Tessa Liberatoscioli and a three-pointer from
Emma Wagner as the Mighty Macs led 32-31 at the halftime break.
In the third quarter, Immaculata was able to build their lead to six behind strong play from
Abigail Lentowski and
Reese Mullins. The Mighty Macs led 54-51 after the third quarter.
In the fourth quarter,
Reese Mullins scored on a lay up to put the Macs up by three points 56-53. Penn State Abington would not go quietly and took the lead 61-60 with 4:16 remaining. The Mighty Macs responded with a layup from
Abigail Lentowski and one from
Reese Mullins to take a 63-60 lead with 2:30 remaining.
Reese Mullins hit a three pointer with 0:45 remaining to put Immaculata up 68-61.
Morgan Falcone would ice the game with a pair for free throws as Immaculata closed out the win 72-65.

rd when they will travel to open Atlantic East Conference play at Marymount with tipoff at 6:00 PM.
