SCRANTON,Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team saw their 2023 season conclude in a 2-0 Atlantic East Semifinal matchup with Marywood.

The first 15 minutes of action would play scoreless for both sides with
Julia Levase saving the only shot she faced in the frame. Marywood opened the scoring to begin the second quarter and jump out to a 1-0 lead. The Marywood keeper would make a save on the Macs lone shot from the stick of
Gina Moreno. Â Levase would save five shots in the 2
nd.

 Coming out of the break down 1-0, the Mighty Macs would keep the Pacers off the board in the 3
rd quarter, with Levase adding two more saves to her total. The Pacers would extend their lead to 2-0 in the 47
th minute of play, which would ultimately put the game out of reach for Immaculata.

Overall, the Mighty Macs battled throughout, with Levase tallying 13 saves in 15 opportunities to keep her team in the contest.

The Mighty Macs finish the season with an 8-11 record after a grueling schedule which saw them end their regular season 4-2 in Atlantic East Conference play.
