IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's soccer team had their season come to an end at the hands of Marymount by a score of 2-0 in the Atlantic East Conference Quarterfinals.

In the first half, neither team could get anything going offensively, with both goalies making plays to send the match into the break deadlocked at 0-0. To open the second half of play, the Saints struck early, using a Mighty Mac miscue to take a 1-0 lead in the 45
th minute.

The Saints would extend their lead to 2-0 in the 52
nd minute of play. The Mighty Macs offense had a few opportunities get taken away by the quick reflexes of the Saints keeper. Overall, the Macs took nine shots with five finding their way on target.

Ryan Straub made seven saves in the contest, while
Michael Prall (2),
Josh Fonder (1) ,
EJ Martin (1) and
Cooper McKinney each put shots on goal.

The Mighty Macs have now concluded their 2023 season in which they finished with a 4-7-6 record overall.
