IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team was back in action on Tuesday afternoon hosting Penn State-Abington at the IU Tennis Courts. Immaculata would fall to Penn State-Abington 6-3.
In doubles action, Immaculata's first doubles team of Jason Watts and Troy Watts dropped a hard-fought match 8-7. The second doubles team of Nicholas Fleming and Jeremy Brown battled back to take their match 8-7. The third doubles team of Nicholas Brown and Matthew Sabat Jr. lost their match 8-1.
In singles action, Jason Watts lost the first singles match 2-6, 4-6. Troy Watts won the second singles match in three sets 6-4, 6-7, 6-2. Nicholas Fleming won the third singles match in straight sets 6-4, 7-5. Jeremy Brown lost a hard-fought fourth singles match in a tiebreaker 6-3, 3-6, 7-10. Nicholas Brown battled back to force a tiebreaker in the fifth singles match falling 1-6, 6-4, 3-10. Matthew Sabat Jr. fell in the sixth singles match 0-6, 0-6.
