IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team dropped their match to Kings College with a final score of 3-0.
Kings got the scoring started early with a goal in the 10
th minute. They then added goals in the 50
th and 70
th minute to finish off the scoring for the match.
It was a hard fought game for the Mighty Macs despite the score, as they battled for the full 90 minutes on the defensive end.The Macs had a few opportunities on the offensive end, with shots from
Rachel McNamee,
Hannah Phillips,
Kelli Dombroski,
Jessica Gindle and
Kelsey Caldarelli.
Immaculata was led on the defensive side of the ball by freshman
Catie Paolini who led the way with eight saves.
The Immaculata women's soccer team is back in action at Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday September 10
th at 1:00 PM as they host Goucher College.
