IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped its match against DeSales 9-0 on Tuesday.
The Macs' first doubles team of
Jason Watts and
Nicholas Fleming dropped their match by a score of 8-7. The pairs of
Nicholas John and
Jeremy Brown along with
Alex Polidoro and
Sean Chalmers lost their respective second and third doubles matches, each with 8-0 decisions.
Moving into singles, Watts lost his first singles match 6-3, 6-3 while Fleming lost second singles 6-0, 6-0. The Macs' third through sixth singles matches (Brown, John, Polidoro, and Chalmers) each also resulted in 6-0, 6-0 decisions.
The Mighty Macs will return to action on Sunday as they open Atlantic East play against Marywood.
