ORLANDO, Fl. – The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped their match against the University of Northwestern (Mn.) on Friday morning in a 9-0 decision.
Jason Watts and
Nicholas Fleming teamed up in first doubles for the Macs, dropping their match in an 8-0 decision.
Nicholas John and
Jeremy Brown then dropped second doubles 8-0 while
Alex Polidoro and
Sean Chalmers fell in third doubles 8-0.
Moving into singles, Watts lost his first singles match with 6-1 and 6-3 decisions. Fleming then went 6-3 and 6-0 in his second singles loss while Brown lost third singles with two 6-0 losses. John, meanwhile, dropped his fourth singles match with two 6-1 decisions. Polidoro and Chalmers then lost their fifth and sixth singles matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
The Mighty Macs will return to Pennsylvania for their next match as they travel to Reading on Friday, March 18
th for a match against Penn State Berks.
