ORLANDO, Fl. – The Immaculata men's tennis team dropped their contest this morning against NCAA Division II Stonehill 7-0.
After their scheduled match on Wednesday was rained out, Immaculata faced off against Stonehill on Thursday morning.
Jason Watts and
Nicholas Fleming teamed up in first doubles play, dropping their match 6-1.
Jeremy Brown and
Nicholas John then dropped their second doubles match 6-0 while
Alex Polidoro and
Sean Chalmers dropped third doubles 6-1.
Moving into singles, Watts dropped his first singles match by scores of 6-0 and 6-1. Fleming did not fair much better in second singles, losing by 6-1 margins in both sets. Brown, John, Polidoro, and Chalmers, meanwhile, competed in third through sixth singles, respectively, dropping their sets in 6-0, 6-0 decisions.
Following a rainout today versus King's, the Macs will return to action on Friday as the men and women face the University of Northwestern.
