ARLINGTON, Va. – The Immaculata men's basketball team dropped their Atlantic East Conference semifinal matchup against Marymount on Wednesday evening by a score of 84-62.
The match started with back-and-forth action as the Saints owned a 12-11 lead over the Macs six minutes into the contest. They then went on a 13-2 run until the halfway point in the first half, claiming a 25-13 lead. Over the next 10 minutes, they increased their lead over the Macs to 18 as the Saints entered halftime with a 47-29 lead over the Macs.
Tyler Tillery led the Mighty Macs offensively on the first half, scoring nine points while adding two rebounds and one assist.
Steven Dao,
Dylan Crews, and
Gregory Vlassopoulos each also scored four points on the half for the Macs.
Marymount quickly increased its lead in the second half, at one time owning a 31-point lead over the Mighty Macs. The Macs dropped 33 points on the half, but could not climb back into the contest as the match finished in an 84-62 decision.
Tillery led the Macs on the game with 15 points scored and eight rebounds.
Tim Schultice, meanwhile, added 10 points on the night.
