IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team was back in action tonight at Alumnae Hall as they defeated Washington College 76-59.
The Mighty Macs jumped out to an early 15-8 lead over the Shoremen behind
Tyler Tillery with eight points, and
Tim Schultice with four points. The Macs would extend their lead to 19-8 with another basket by
Tyler Tillery. The Shoremen would battle back to close the gap before the halftime break.
At the half, Immaculata owned a 33-31 lead over Washington. On the half, Immaculata shot 57.7% from the field.
The second half began with Immaculata opening a seven-point lead at 38-31, before Washington closed the score to 42-40 with fifteen minutes remaining. Immaculata would then close out the game and the win on a 34-19 run.
Immaculata was led by
Tyler Tillery with 17 points,
Tim Schultice with 15 points, and
Keith Farmer with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Steven Dao contributed nine points, and six rebounds.
Gregory Vlassopoulos added eight points and five rebounds.
For the night, Immaculata shot 54.5% from the field.
Immaculata men's basketball will be back in action on Thursday, November 10
th when they travel to play at the Delaware State Hornets. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
