IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team had 12 different players score, as they defeated the University of Valley Forge 92-62. Immaculata (2-1 overall) tied a program record tonight by forcing 30 Valley Forge turnovers. The record was previously set back on January 14, 2019, also against Valley Forge.
In the first half Immaculata jumped out to quick five-point lead after a three pointer by
Gregory Vlassopoulos. Valley Forge battled back to pull the score to 12-10 seven minutes into the half. Immaculata would use a 20-4 run to extend their lead to 18 with seven minutes left in the half. Immaculata would take a 43-30 lead into the half-time break.
Gregory Vlassopoulos led Immaculata in the first half with 11 points.
Steven Dao scored seven points, and
Brandon Perez added five points.
In the second half Immaculata continued to find ways to score, and the lead never got below 11 points. Immaculata out scored Valley Forge 49-32 in the second half as they closed out the win 92-62.
The Mighty Macs were led by
Gregory Vlassopoulos who scored 18 points, recorded five rebounds, and contributed five steals.
Steven Dao,
Keith Farmer,
John Flood, and
Tim Schultice each scored 11 points for Immaculata.

The Immaculata men's basketball team will be back in action on Monday, November 21
st when they travel to play at Misericordia University at 7:00 PM.
