CHESTER, Pa. – The Immaculata women's soccer team falls to 0-3 on the season following a 3-0 loss against Widener University on Saturday night.
Following a scoreless first half, the Mighty Macs found themselves down 10-3 in shots taken. Senior goalkeeper
Brooke Shissler recorded six saves on the half for the Mighty Macs, keeping the Pride scoreless.
Two minutes into the second half, Widener broke the ice as Alyssa Carmen scored to give Widener the 1-0 lead. Six minutes later, at the 52:49 mark, Carmen scored her second goal of the game, increasing Widener's lead to 2-0. Carmen would add on a third goal in the 78
th minute to complete the hat trick.

Rachel McNamee led the Mighty Macs offensively on the day, each recording two shots and one shot on goal. Defensively, Shissler recorded 13 saves in net for the Mighty Macs.
The Mighty Macs will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Lancaster to face off against Lancaster Bible College. Their match against the Chargers is scheduled to start at 3:00 P.M.
