Box Score RADNOR, Pa.-The Immaculata men's tennis team took to the road on Tuesday evening to square off against Atlantic East rival Cabrini for the Atlantic East Championship. Immaculata battled throughout but fell to the Cavaliers by a final of 5-0.
In doubles action,
Jason Watts and
Michael Chartier dropped their first doubles match by an 8-2 final while the pairing of
Matt DeHaut and
Nicholas John dropped second doubles by an identical 8-2 final.
Jeremy Brown and
Kevin Lyons fell at third doubles by an 8-4 final as Cabrini claimed a 3-0 lead in the match.
In singles play, Chartier dropped his second singles match 6-0, 6-1 while DeHaut fell in third singles 6-2, 6-0 as Cabrini claimed the match by a 5-0 final with the remaining four singles matches going unfinished.
This setback concludes the Macs historic 2021 season as this season was the teams first Atlantic East Championship appearance and their first Conference Championship appearance since the end of the 2017 season.
