IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata men's tennis team returned to the courts in a 7-2 road victory against Marywood on Wednesday.
In doubles play,
Jason Watts and
Mike Chartier earned the victory in first doubles with a score of 8-5.
Matt Dehaut and
Nick John then went on to win second doubles 7-7, 7-2.
In singles action, Watts won first singles 6-0, 6-2. Meanwhile, in third singles, Dehaut claimed the victory 6-3, 6-4 while John took fourth singles 6-2,6-2. Chartier dropped second singles in three sets, having won set one 6-4 before dropping sets two and three 6-3 and 10-4.
Jeremy Brown also dropped fifth singles with two 6-0 losses.
Brown and
Kevin Lyons also won third doubles via forefeit while Lyons also won sixth singles by forfeit.
The Mighty Macs will return to action next Tuesday, April 13
th, as they travel to Gwynedd Mercy for a 3:30 P.M. match.
