IMMACULATA, Pa.- After an untouched run through Atlantic East play, the Immaculata ESports team returned to action on Monday evening against rival Cabrini in an Atlantic East Championship battle. The Mighty Macs completed their quest for perfection and an Atlantic East Title with a convincing 3-0 victory over Cabrini on Monday evening to remain unbeaten in Atlantic East play while also earning a bid to the Collegiate ESports National Championship Tournament.

Jacob Fitzgerald, and
Zachary Malcolm got the start for Immaculata once again on Monday evening en route to the Atlantic East Championship.
In the first game, Immaculata opened the scoring early as Malcolm scored his first of five goals of the game with 4:05 to play to give Immaculata a 1-0 lead. This lead grew moments later as Malcolm scored again with 3:59 to play before Fitzgerald added a goal of his own with 3:46 to play to give the Macs a 3-0 lead. Bradley further extended the lead with 3:01 to play to give the Macs a 4-0 lead. Malcolm scored three goals over the final 1:54 of play including a pair of goals with 37 and 32 seconds remaining to take the 7-0 victory.
In the second game, Immaculata opened the scoring just seconds in to take an early 1-0 lead before Cabrini answered with a goal of its own to even the game at 1-1. The score did not remain tied for long as Malcolm added another goal with 4:22 to play before Fitzgerald scored his second goal with 3:34 to play to extend the lead to 3-1. Malcolm scored his final goal of the game with 1:40 to play to take a 4-1 lead, which the Macs would go on to win by to take a 2-0 match lead.
In the third game, Malcolm opened the scoring again with his first goal of the match with 4:51 to play before adding another goal with 3:48 remaining. Malcolm scored his third goal of the game with 2:10 to play before scoring his final goal with 55 seconds remaining to lift Immaculata to a 4-0 game three victory and 3-0 match victory to take the Atlantic East Championship and cap an undefeated run through Atlantic East play.
Malcolm, who had entered play tied with Fitzgerald as the Macs leading goal scorer, had a huge night for the Macs as he scored a team-best 11 goals in the triumph.
With its Atlantic East Championship on Monday evening, Immaculata has also secured a bid to the Collegiate ESports National Championship Tournament beginning on April 29. The Macs next foe will be announced as that information becomes available.
