IMMACULATA. Pa. – Head coach
Nicole Barretta and the Immaculata women's lacrosse team announced their schedule in advance of the 2022 season on Tuesday. After a 2021 campaign which saw the Mighty Macs making an appearance in the Atlantic East Conference Quarterfinals, the Mighty Macs are set to renew their efforts for the Atlantic East Championship title.
Immaculata's 2022 schedule slate consists of 14 games, seven home and seven away. The season will kick off on Wednesday, February 23
rd as Immaculata hosts Elizabethtown for the 2022 home opener. Immaculata will then be home again on Saturday the 26
th against Eastern University.
The Mighty Macs will then hit the road for five of their next six, beginning with a two-game away stretch to start the month of March. First, on Wednesday, March 2
nd, the Macs will travel to Swarthmore College. The Macs will then travel to Doylestown, Pa. to face off against Delaware Valley on Saturday the 5
th.
Following their two-game road tilt, the Macs will return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Wednesday, March 9
th to face off against Bryn Mawr College. The Mighty Macs will then return to the road for their next three games. First, they will travel to Widener on Saturday the 12
th before facing Alvernia and Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday the 16
th and Tuesday the 22
nd, respectively.
Immaculata will then begin its 2022 Atlantic East Conference schedule at home on Thursday, March 31
st against Cabrini University. Immaculata's final non-conference game will then follow at home on Saturday, April 2
nd as Immaculata hosts Lancaster Bible College.
The Mighty Macs will continue Atlantic East action on the road on Wednesday, April 6
th as they travel to Marywood. Then, on Saturday the 9
th, the Macs will return home to face Gwynedd Mercy.
After a two-week break due to bye-weeks and Easter break, the Macs return to action for their final regular season home game on Saturday, April 23
rd, as the Macs host Marymount University. The Mighty Macs will then conclude the regular season on the orad on Wednesday, the 27th against Neumann.
