HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1
-In their half of the first, the Mighty Macs loaded the bases on two walks and a hit, and Hindle made them pay immediately with a two-run single to left-center field that got past the left fielder, allowing a third run to score. Freshman
Cat Knoll had runners on the corners with one out and hit a groundball that the shortstop threw high to first base, allowing Hindle to score from third for the fourth run of the first
-Petito followed that by striking out the side in the second, but would allow single runs in the third and fourth to close her outing
-DeAngelis came on in relief and only faced trouble in the sixth as she worked around a pair of singles. She retired the side in order in the fifth and seventh innings for her first save of the season
