Mighty Mac Momentum Slowed At Franklin & Marshall

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Mighty Mac softball team (16-7-1) surged into a doubleheader at Franklin & Marshall (10-12) after winning four games over the weekend, but their momentum was slowed by the Diplomats in a pair of losses, 4-0 and 9-1.

IU mustered just three hits in the opener, and in the second game, they were trailing 6-0 through three innings and they couldn't recover.

-Junior Michaela Petito singled with one out in the second, and sophomore Keani Hindle doubled with one out in the fourth, but those were the only two hits the rest of the way for IU as they were kept off the scoreboard
