IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's tennis team dropped its regular season finale to a tough Goucher team in non-conference action Thursday afternoon, 6-3.
Elizabeth Lipscomb and
Jessica Dougherty posted hard-fought singles victories in the effort for the Mighty Macs.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Caleigh Masterman and
Morgan Jacob battled throughout their first doubles match, but ultimatlely fell, 8-5.
-
Susan Callahan and
Caitlin Savage at second and Lipscomb and Dougherty at third each dropped 8-2 decisions.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Masterman suffered a rare defeat at first singles, 6-1, 6-3.
-Callahan was also defeated at second singles, 6-3, 6-2.
-Jacob won her match by default at third singles.
-Savage was unable to take down her opponent at fourth, falling 6-0, 6-2.
-Lipscomb match was the longest of the afternoon at fifth, and after winning the tiebreaker in the first, 7-5, she rallied to take the second 7-5.
-Dougherty produced a sixth singles victory with a 6-4, 6-1 decision.
