IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Mighty Macs (6-10, 2-4) went to Cabrini on Thursday afternoon for their regular season finale for their final tune up prior to the Atlantic East Quarterfinals on Saturday, and the Cavaliers (9-8, 5-1) dealt the Macs an 18-4 defeat.
 
Sophomore Maura Murray scored twice, while sophomore Ashley Hankin and junior Layne Kennedy each scored once.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Cabrini started quickly by scoring the first six before Hankin took a feed from Kennedy to get the Macs on the board eight and a half minutes into the contest
-The Cavaliers then finished the first half in a flurry with eight more goals to put the Macs in a 14-1 hole heading into the half
-Murray scored twice, and Kennedy once while senior Bailey Krewson assisted on two of the goals to get to the final of 18-4
 
TEAM COMPARISON
-The Mighty Macs were outshot, 44-17, and Cabrini had an edge in turnovers, 37-23
-Cabrini was 21-for-25 clearing the ball and the Macs were 19-for-34
-The Cavaliers had 34 groundballs to 28 for IU
