IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Mighty Mac women's lacrosse team (4-8, 1-1) travelled to Marymount (10-5, 3-0) for their first Atlantic East matchup, and the Macs were in search of their second straight conference victory, but Marymount used a late first half run to take control and dealt IU a 20-8 defeat.

Junior Anna DiDonato scored three times while junior Kayla Cadden and senior Bailey Krewson each scored twice.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-Cadden and DiDonato scored consecutively to slice the deficit back to three at 7-4 with 5:39 to go before the break
-The Saints' attack got stronger from there as they scored six of the final seven goals in the half with only a Krewson goal for the Macs, and they trailed 13-5 at the break
