ASTON, Pa.- The Mighty Mac men's volleyball team finished up their inaugural campaign on Saturday afternoon at Neumann as they fell in straight sets, 3-0, by scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-14.

Garrett Pepper had a great day with a team-high 14 kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Macs were trailing early in the first set, 7-2, but slowly climbed back into it as Pepper had a kill on an assist from freshman
Donte Ramos to make it 13-11 Knights. Neumann reeled off three straight, but the Macs returned the favor with three of their own punctuated by another kill from Pepper. The Mighty Macs got within two at 22-20 late in the set, but Neumann won three straight to close out the set
-IU again trailed early, but they fought back to tie the game at 7-7, 8-8, and 9-9 before they took the lead on a kill by Pepper, 10-9. Neumann then went on a big run, scoring 13 of the next 15, to fall behind 22-12 en route to the 25-16 loss
-A 10-1 run in the middle of the third set by Neumann gave them a decisive 15-5 advantage and the Macs couldn't make any in roads in a 25-14 defeat
