Macs Take First Home Loss To Eastern

Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Mighty Mac men's tennis team (1-2) returned back to the IU Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon to host the Eastern University Eagles, and they took their first home loss of the season, 9-0.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-Seniors Dom Ramsden and Alex Noel at first doubles, and sophomore Michael Chartier and freshman Zach Malcolm at second doubles, each lost 8-2 
-Sophomore Will Helm and freshman Kenton Munn fell 8-1 at third doubles

SINGLES RESULTS
-Munn battled in the sixth spot but fell 6-1, 6-4
-Ramsden dropped his match 6-2, 6-1 at first singles and Noel fell 6-1, 6-1 at second singles
-Chartier and Malcom lost 6-0, 6-0 in the third and fourth spots, respectively
-Helm fell 6-0, 6-1 at fifth singles

WHAT THEY SAID
-Senior Dom Ramsden said, "Today was a great learning experience for our team. Although we did not execute as we wanted, we were able to take a lot of intangibles away. Better results will come with more consistency and better point structure which we as a team will look to improve and build on going into conference play."
